This page provides access to records of my white-throated dipper sightings by “bird”. Since I am only observing the birds from a distance, in most cases I don’t know their ring number. So I’ve assigned numbers to each bird, or group of birds, to allow me to reference them in sightings. Each colour-ringed bird has a unique number; birds with a single metal ring or with no rings are grouped together.
So far almost all my dipper sightings are in the Seven Arches (Balmossie) Viaduct area of the Dighty Burn in Monifieth and Broughty Ferry in Scotland. The relevant colour-ringing page for these birds is https://cr-birding.org/node/2754.
The most recent list of all sightings by bird is here (PDF) [2025-Dec-24].
